Formed in 2000, The Love Junkies are one of the country's premier function bands, specialising in wedding entertainment and corporate work. Playing a huge repetoire featuring the best soul, disco, motown and classics from the last five decades, The Love Junkies are equipped to please any audience.

The band play in a number of flexible formats. The normal line-ups for the band are 4 and 5 piece. However they are able to perform up to an 8-piece with additional keyboards, brass and percussion.

Roxane - Vocal
Rox has been working as a professional singer for over 10 years and is a highly respected and sort after vocalist. She regularly records jingles for; "The Chris Moyles Breakfast Show" (Radio 1), Virgin, Capital FM, Radio City 96.7, Heart 106.2, Invicta, KMFM plus she has sung on adverts for many high profile companies including SONY, SKY and Ford. Her vocals have also featured on a number of dance tracks some of which appear on albums released by:
The Ministry of Sound (Clubber's Guide to 2002 - available on Amazon ) .

Marcus Bishop - Drums
Marcus has been a professional Drummer and Sound Engineer for 15 years, during which time he has worked with Morcheeba, Curtis Stigers, Paul Young, The Blockheads (Ian Dury and The Blockheads), Roy Wood (Wizard / The Move), Chris Difford (Squeeze) to name but a few...

Chris Wong - Guitar/ Bass
A professional for over 20 years, he is the MD and lead guitarist for Toyah (Wilcox.) He has previously worked with Natalie Imbruglia, Martine McCutcheon, Sheila Ferguson and Al Martino. Chris has just released his new album 'Edible Suite' (March 2007)

Dave Patrick - Guitar, Vocal
Dave has been playing in professional function bands for the last 10 years, most notably Speakeasy. He has worked with a number of well known acts including Toyah, Wishbone Ash and Shaun Williamson. Dave was previously in Otis whose 2002 album
Proximity (available from Amazon) was critically acclaimed on release.

Andy Doble - Keyboards
Andy is the keyboard player in Toyah's current line up. He has worked with many well known acts through the years, including Edwin Starr, George Williams (the Tymes,) George Clinton (Parliament, Funkadelic.) He is currently writing with Don Mescall (SONY BMG Music group) who penned the recent hit 'All Over Again' for Ronan Keating and Kate Rusby.

The Love Junkies are also the backing band for:
Shaun Williamson(Fame Academy, Eastenders, Extras, etc.)

P.A. and Lighting Equipment

The band is able to supply a PA and lighting with any booking. Hire covers standard sound rig and monitoring equipment suitable for most venue types. For a larger venue or bigger audience P.A. requirements may differ - The Love Junkies will be happy to discuss these requirements with you should you have any worries or concerns.

DJ service

The Love Junkies are able to supply a professional D.J. also with a great selection of party tunes to suit. However, if you have any specific leanings we can change the mix to suit - it's important that you get the music you want! The DJ will usually comprise of at least 2-3 hours outside the band.
